About the Event

This is the regularly scheduled monthly meeting of the Middle TN Chapter of SFPE. Our technical presentation this month will be "Flame Detection 101" by Bill Crowley with Space Age Electronics.

**This month we are MEETING AT THE TN STATE FIRE MARSHAL'S OFFICE** Check-in at the lobby desk and the meeting will be on the 9th floor. Recommended parking is the parking deck on Harrison Street.

Lunch will be provided by Gresham Smith.

Since 2020, Bill Crowley has been the Central Business Development Manager at Space Age Electronics.

Prior to Space Age Electronics, Bill was a Corporate Senior Project Manager at Johnson Controls / Tyco SimplexGrinnell, a leader in the Life Controls / Tyco SimplexGrinnell, a leader in the Life Safety and Security space. Bill has led an impressive 30-year career guiding high-risk, complex Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, and

Security projects, notably: Madison Square Garden Renovation, NYC; Princeton University Campus Network, NJ; and Kennedy Space Center, FL.

Bill began his journey in the electrical trade obtaining a wireman’s license, while concurrently earning a BA from the University of Maryland in Business. Bill has been a member of IEEE, and an alternate for NEMA. 

As a life safety professional, Bill takes pride in the technical and thrives on solving issues. Bill enjoys working in a dynamic environment, allowing him to be creative, strategic, and tactical.
